CPAP/BiPAP Customer Satisfaction Policy

American Medical Sales and Rentals is committed to helping our customers select the right equipment for their needs and we encourage you to leverage our helpful and knowledgeable staff. If you have purchased an incorrect CPAP UNIT, please call our staff for assistance with an exchange.

  • All UNOPENED CPAP/APAP Units can be returned within the first 7 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange. Units must be returned in their original, unopened packaging.
  • From 7 – 14 days of receipt, UNOPENED CPAP/APAP units may be returned for refund minus a 25% restocking fee. Units must be returned in original packaging.
  • After 14 days from purchase, CPAP/BiPap units are not returnable.
  • All masks, accessories and other disposable items are not returnable.
Manufacturers Defects: In the unlikely event that a defective item is received, American Medical Sales & Rentals will replace the CPAP or APAP under warranty within 30 days of the original receipt date. Please contact our technicians with questions or assistance troubleshooting at 877-303-9289.

Manufacturer Warranties: All new CPAP/APAP units carry a manufacturer warranty. If your machine malfunctions, contact our office to verify the warranty status of the unit. Should your unit be under the manufactures’ warranty, our Customer Support team will assist you in the warranty process and issue a Customer RMA number. Warranty and repair decisions are made solely by the manufacturer. Repair or replacement of the broken machine can take up to 4-6 weeks; customers are responsible for shipping the product to our warehouse. Please note: Manufacturers do not warranty against misuse or any water damage. If the cause of the malfunction is determined to be under the conditions of misuse or water damage, the customer can elect to have the unit repaired as an out of warranty expense, in which American Medical Sales & Rentals will communicate repair costs prior to the machine being repaired or have the unit returned back to them at no cost.
