Inogen One® Rove 4® Portable Oxygen Concentrator, Intermediate Battery Description
The Inogen Rove 4 offers four settings of pulse-dose oxygen therapy, delivering up to 840 milliliters per minute of medical-grade oxygen and features Inogen’s patented pulse-dose Intelligent Delivery Technology to ensure oxygen delivery is effective and efficient. This technology quickly detects a breath and delivers an oxygen bolus (dose) within the first milliseconds of inhalation; this is when oxygen has the most effect on gas exchange in the lungs.
Inogen stands out from the crowd with its small, lightweight, and portable units, and the Rove 4 is no exception. This powerful unit weighs only 2.9 pounds with an intermediate battery and 3.4 pounds with the Intermediate Battery installed. It is also small, at 7.5” high x 5.83” wide x 2.64” deep.
This lightweight unit’s small size makes it easy to transport in the carrying bag. This bag protects the unit from dents and scratches and features an adjustable padded shoulder strap for a custom fit. Users can also purchase an Inogen Rove backpack for additional hands-free convenience and storage. The Rove 4 is also ideal for traveling and is FAA-approved for airplane use. Plus, at only 39 decibels (quieter than a library), it’s quiet enough that it won’t disturb anyone around.
The Inogen Rove 4 package includes one Intermediate battery with up to four hours of power. This unit also has two other battery options to extend its run time- an intermediate and an extended battery. With the Inogen Rove 4, you can simultaneously power your unit while charging the battery when you plug it into another power source. This unit operates with an AC power cord, compatible with standard wall outlets, and DC power cable, found in most vehicles and boats.
