Respironics BiPAP Pro with Humidifier Description
With the addition of Bi-Flex technology, the BiPAP Pro softens the airflow pressure at inhalation and exhalation to settings that provide increased pressure relief, making breathing more comfortable and natural for the patient.
Also included as part of the System One technology are Humidity Control with Dry Box and Resistance Control. System One Humidity Control technology analyzes ambient temperature and patient airflow to reach relative humidity at the mask. Sensors inside and outside the BiPAP machine closely monitor changes in humidity and prevents condensation from forming inside the tube. Dry Box technology reduces water damage to the BiPAP by trapping any water that manages to escape the chamber. Both of these advancements make these units “spill-free,” even if turned upside down!
The Respironics BiPAP Pro offers the same SD card management system as the REMstar family of CPAPs and the BiPAP Auto, which records hours and patterns of use; however, more advanced event detection and reporting technologies are available with the BiPAP Pro and BiPAP Auto.
The optional humidification package will help to alleviate dryness and irritation in the airways.
