You will soon be able to take advantage of these technological advances with one of the newest continuous flow oxygen concentrator – the Sequal Equinox!

This comes from the makers of our customer favorites in the smallest portable models in the industry – AirSep, as well as the maker of one of the best continuous flow concentrators, Sequal (makers of the popular Eclipse series). They combined the best of both worlds in the Sequal Equinox. It weighs just 14 lbs (with the battery) and features continuous flow settings up to 3 LPM (liters per minute), as well as pulse dose settings as high as 6.

The Equinox has some unique features that will make it a customer favorite. The battery compartment is located in the front of the machine, which will make it easier to replace the battery while on a mobile cart.

There is also a talking alarm feature that will let you know when the battery is low, or if you’ve accidentally changed the oxygen settings from what you are prescribed. The talking alarms can be great, because instead of just hearing a beeping alarm, you will instantly know what the alarm is for. The speaking alarms are customizable, in case you don’t want them, and they can be set to speak in 8 different languages.

The battery duration for the Sequal Equinox is as good as ever. You can expect the same great battery life as the Eclipse, even with a smaller battery and machine. The battery will last no less than 1 hour on the setting of 3 LPM continuous flow, and 5.1 hours on the pulse dose setting of 2. We do not yet know anything about the accessories, but we can expect to have batteries and possibly an external battery charger, just like the one for the Eclipse and its batteries, as well as a great carry bag and mobile cart

If you currently have the Sequal Eclipse and you would like a smaller model that would be more suitable for using during exercise, or just for general travel, you may want to upgrade to the Equinox. It will become available in March 2014, appropriately in time for the Spring Equinox in the northern hemisphere. That gives you time to snatch up this great new portable concentrator to use during the summer, when you might be ready to go on vacation or begin getting physical activity outdoors.
