SeQual eQuinox Portable Rental Description
The eQuinox is the latest in SeQual’s line of transportable oxygen concentrators and at just under 13 pounds, it’s the lightest machine available that delivers up to three liters per minute of continuous flow oxygen. It also has a pulse oxygen setting from one to three. Dose settings go up to 192 mL for those needing a high pulse flow, which is ideal for people who require higher level settings.
The eQuinox has a uniquely designed battery placement and pops right into the front of the machine. With the battery added, the weight of the entire unit is just 14 pounds. It comes with both a 12 and a 24 cell battery. The 24 cell battery lasts between two and four and a half hours on continuous flow delivery and between three and a half and five and a half hours using pulse mode. You can also power the eQuinox with AC or DC electrical outlets. The DC power supply is very small, with no bulky pieces, so you can easily use the eQuinox in a car.
The eQuinox is an incredibly quiet machine, with just 37 decibels of noise output so that it won’t interrupt any activities, including sleep. It features AutoSAT Technology, which helps maintain a consistent flow of oxygen by controlling the machine to meet your required respiratory rate at any time. Adjustable pulse trigger technology means you can choose settings from one to three based on your breathing needs.
An audible voice alert system is one of the highlights of this portable oxygen concentrator. It confirms flow setting, how much battery power is left, and lets you know of any problems with the eQuinox unit. It can be set to any of eight languages. Verbal notifications allow you much more freedom than with units that you have to check continually visually to find out how much battery life is left. The alert system also uses yellow and red LEDs to warn of system malfunction and low battery.
At just 13.6" high x 10.6" wide x 7" deep, and with such a little weight for a concentrator offering continuous flow, the SeQual eQuinox is unequaled concerning portability and ease of use away from home.
