Respironics EverFlo Q Home Concentrator Description Back to top
The Respironics EverFlo Q is a home oxygen concentrator that delivers up to 5 LPM of continuous flow oxygen in a quiet unit that weighs around 31 pounds. The design features of the EverFlo Q combine quiet operation, compact design and low maintenance into a single unit. It delivers around 90 to 96 percent of oxygen concentration with liter flows that range from 0.5 to 5.
The stylish, compact design allows it to fit easily into any room without being an eyesore. It also features 4 wheels on the bottom of the machine that make it easy to move around in any setting. At an operating noise level of 40 decibels, it is as quiet as most normal household appliances.
The EverFlo oxygen concentrator produces less heat than other home concentrators and requires less electricity to operate, reducing your operating costs. There are only 2 filters to replace, so there is minimal maintenance required on this unit.
Compact design that only weighs 31 pounds and is easy to transport
At less than 40 decibels, it is one of the quietest home concentrators
A low maintenance machine with 2 filters that only need to be changed after 2 years
Uses less power than other home concentrators which results in a lower electricity bill
I've been on supplemental oxygen with a CPAP since 2012 or earlier. My first O2 concentrater was a Respironics - I don't recall the model. My insurance company switched over to Apria for medical supplies (putting all small medical suppliers out of business; much like Walmart did with small businesses when they moved in). I was given Invacare Perfecto2 V - nosiest thing I ever heard and took a good while to get used to the noise! Additionally, the Invacare unit had to be replaced 3 times in the past 4 years. Worse, the amount charged to my insurance company paid for almost two machines per year! Searched the Internet and American Medical Sales and Rentals was the closest to my location - saving shipping time. Our representative was Eric Stark. He recommended the Respironics Everflo; he followed up when the call could not be finished, contacted my doctor for the necessary paperwork and had the unit shipped to me a bit over one week later. Plugged it in, set the O2 flow and was almost shocked at how quiet it is. Now I will save my insurance company, and myself, money (co-pays). I will recommend your company to anyone I meet using O2 supplementation.

Over the past 6 years I rented an EverFlo from a local supplier; cost me 150$ a month; that's nearly 10,000$!! The cost of a small car!!
I found American Medical and "PURCHASED" this unit for less than 1/2 a years rent. And the best part is, its way quieter.
Thank Sean Lowe!!

I bought it in June 2014 and after running 39275 hours died at the beginning of 2019. Now I'm breathing on a rental until I get another EverFlo

Been using one for three years. Buying a second one. The oxygen sure helps with my sleep.
Mary Ann Gray, if no one has helped you, the second filter is inside in a plastic box. You replace the entire box.

Stilling figuring it all out.
We had it in the closet only used it for travel but I want to use it full time now.It is much lower EMF than the Invacare we have. I can;t figure out where the 2 filters are I am suppose to change I only see one.? It is also nosier than I remembered it. But it is smaller and better looking. I do wish it had a longer handle to make it easier to lift and put in the car.

This unit as noisy as all the other units. It has an annoying high pitched sound when it is started. This sound can be heard two rooms away sometimes.

Please create a taller maybe expandable handle
This product works well and would be easier to use if the person using it didn't have to bended over to move it. That would also help the partner move it when needed. Is there an attachable handle extender available?

Quiet and compact which is exactly what I wanted
I'm very happy with the Everflo Q! It's my first experience with oxygen therapy because of my COPD and I've been using it for 6 months now. It's quiet and doesn't take up a lot of room, which is what I was dreading.

Happy with my choice
I have to use 4 LPM of continuous flow oxygen and this gets the job done nicely. I'm glad I went ahead and got this instead of continuing to use my old tanks. This is much more cost effective for me.

My COPD hasn't gotten the best of me because of my EverFlo. I don't mind using this stationary oxygen concentrator because it's not that loud. I use it at night before I go to bed and it helps me fall asleep.
