Q and A |
How to change filter on the Lifechoice? The Lifechoice does not have a washable filter, only an internal filter that needs to be replaced. Depending on the number of hours the machine is used each day, the internal filter should be replaced every 1-2 years. The Lifechoice has a mesh screen on the front and backside of the unit that requires cleaning with a dry q-tip every 1-2 weeks to remove any dust particle buildup. How do I perform a hard reset on the Lifechoice? To perform a hard reset, you will need to remove all power to the unit.Let the machine sit powered down for 2 minutes. Plug the machine back into AC power (the power supply for use in the home) and turn the machine on. Once the unit has been running for 5-10 minutes, place the supplemental battery into the machine WHILE RUNNING. This should eliminate the issue the machine is having. If the issue still occurs, call us and we will begin the process of creating a case. How do I insert and remove the battery on the Lifechoice? When looking at the machine from the top where the handle is located, on the top right corner you will notice a white rubber piece covering a circular hole. This is where the supplemental battery is located. The Lifechoice has an internal battery that you will never be able to see or remove. The supplemental battery is the only battery you can insert and remove from the Lifechoice machine. How long does the battery last at all settings on the Lifechoice? The battery duration FULLY CHARGED for Pulse Only up to the setting of 3.Keep in mind that battery durations are estimated because each patient has different breath rates and breathing patterns, which will make the batteries last for shorter or longer amounts of time. When you increase or decrease the settings, the charge per battery will either increase or decrease. Internal battery 2+ Hours Supplemental battery 3+ Hours |
