The IntelliPAP Bilevel S® is designed for easy use. Just three large buttons are used to control virtually all of the functions of this machine, making it exceedingly easy to operate. Additionally, the automatic on/off feature automatically begins the flow of air after the user breathes into the mask, then stops the flow of air when the mask is removed. This, in combination with automatic altitude adjustments up to 8,500 feet, further simplifies the process of using this machine.This bilevel is one of the quietest machines of its kind available today. It operates at just 26dBA, allowing users to reap the benefits of oxygen therapy without noise and disruptions. Other convenient features of the Bilevel S® include automatic leak compensation and remote control capabilities. Flow Rounding® Technology For Enhanced Comfort
This bilevel machine uses innovative Flow Rounding® technology to create a more comfortable user experience. Flow Rounding® technology allows for the adjustment of transitions in and out of IPAP (Inhalation Positive Airway Pressure) and EPAP (Exhalation Positive Airway Pressure).Flow Rounding® technology improves this machine’s oxygen delivery by providing a more natural and seamless waveform with independent IPAP and EPAP transition settings ranging from zero to five. This range works in increments of one.
Greater Treatment Efficacy With SmartCode
This bilevel machine from DeVilbiss includes SmartCode technology. SmartCode is an alpha-numeric code that’s similar to a bar code in that the nature and sequence of its characters hold crucial, encrypted CPAP usage data. Our online SmartCode Report Generator works to decrypt this code and display usage data (and, for some devices, efficacy data). This data is displayed in a clear, easy-to-read report that can be saved as a PDF filed and added to the patient’s record.With SmartCode, the Bilevel S® machine doesn’t need to be directly connected to a computer or use memory cards to store data. This makes it one of the most convenient ways to record patient data and monitor the efficiency of the prescribed therapy. Also, SmartCode is available with all IntelliPAP models at no additional charge, with no added equipment or software required.
