Devilbiss IntelliPAP AutoAdjust w/Heated Humidifier Description
The IntelliPAP AutoAdjust unit can be operated in both conventional CPAP and AutoAdjust modes.
AutoAdjust features include:
- Automatic pressure adjustment based on event density and type
- Adjustable definition of apnea and hypopnea (percentage and duration)
- Adjustable upper and lower pressure limits
- Adjustable delay setting for up to four hours
- Automatic detection of mask conditions and ultra-sensitive snoring detection
DeVilbiss SmartFlex offers three pressure comfort settings:
- Each setting equates to an exact 1 cm H20 drop in pressure upon exhalation
- This drop in pressure will last the entire duration of exhalation
- Unlike some other technologies, SmartFlex will be suspended any time the flow generator senses an insufficient respiration (i.e. Apnea)
DeVilbiss SmartFlex also features patented Flow Rounding which changes the slope of the pressure waveform during the transition from prescription pressure to the SmartFlex setting and vice versa. This enables a smooth transition and decreases the likelihood of waking the CPAP user. There are six levels of flow rounding with level 0 having the steepest slope and quickest transition and level five having the gentlest slope and slowest transition.
The DeVilbiss IntelliPAP Humidifier Chamber provides an efficient and easy to clean addition to your CPAP system when additional moisture makes CPAP use more comfortable.
This IntelliPAP CPAP includes SmartCode. SmartCode is an alpha-numeric code that is shown on the display of the IntelliPAP. Much like a bar code, the character and sequence of the characters contain vital CPAP usage data in an encrypted form. Once the code is decrypted using our on-line SmartCode Report Generator, usage data—and depending on the device, efficacy data—is presented in an easy to read and understand report. Reports can be saved as a pdf and placed in the patient’s record.
The benefits of SmartCode are that the CPAP does not need to be directly connected to the computer, nor does it use memory cards. SmartCode is available in every model of IntelliPAP without additional fees or equipment/software, and provides insightful data that can be used to determine a patient's compliance and monitor the effectiveness of the prescribed therapy.
