Are Inogen batteries interchangeable?

Each Inogen model requires its own battery. For example, a battery from an Inogen G4 will not work with an Inogen G5 model. However, Inogen offers double batteries, so you can swap out the single battery for longer run times. Double batteries make an ideal choice for days you’re away from home or while traveling.

How does battery duration compare between Inogen models?

When choosing an Inogen portable oxygen concentrator (POC), it helps to know the size of each model compared to its battery duration. If you’re an active, on-the-go person, you’ll want a longer battery duration with an easy-to-carry lighter unit. But before choosing a POC based on these two factors, always ensure the POC you choose meets your oxygen requirements.
