Inogen One G4: Lightest Weight

Weighing in at just 2.8 pounds, the Inogen One G4 is one of the smallest, lightest, and quietest portable oxygen concentrators on the market. This model provides users with 3 oxygen flow settings and features Inogen’s Intelligent Delivery technology. This feature ensures your body can efficiently use the oxygen by rapidly detecting a breath and delivering oxygen within the first 400 milliseconds. The delivery technology also detects your breathing and adjusts the oxygen level accordingly.

When exercising or during physical activity, you’ll receive small, quick bursts of oxygen to satisfy your needs. While resting, you’ll automatically receive larger, slower oxygen doses to match your decreased breathing rate. You can depend on the Inogen One G4 to get you out and about.

Inogen One G4 - 2020 Top Rated Concentrator

I love my Inogen G4. I got the big battery with mine and when I go out in the car I use my car charger and it stays charged ready for use when I need it. It is not heavy and easy for me to carry it on my shoulder.

Is there any hope for a continuous flow smaller, lighter machine that would deliver 2 or 3 continuous in a small, light package? PS love our Simply Go! It would be a much better solution with longer battery life, say 2 batteries for 6-8 hours total.

We believe several manufacturers are working on developing a wearable continuous flow unit. However, we do not have any dates as of yet. As soon as we have more information, we will write about it and post on our website. If you are not already, please subscribe to our newsletter as the information will be in that as well.

My G4 started making a noise awhile back. Sent it in for repair, received it back and it ran fine for about 15 minutes and the noise came back. I need to send it back again but how fast is the turnaround with what is going on with the virus issue. Is it taking longer to get repaired?
