Totally pleased with the Unit that I purchased 2 years ago. I have the unit with the 16 cell battery and haven’t had any problems with it at all. I run the unit on a setting of 3 or 4 and it does fine. – Darrell

    • All oxygen concentrators make some noise. The noise level is around 43 decibels on a setting of 2 or the equivalent of a humming refrigerator.

  1. I have the Caire portable concentrator. I would like to know why the battery loses power if I leave it attached to the concentrator when not turned on?

  2. Regarding the battery. I just had this unit delivered to me, and he instructed me to leave it plugged in, while not using it. So it’s always ready to go. Would this not be hard on the battery…

    • these batteries are lithium ion so they are pretty durable. While it should be ok leaving it plugged in and ready, it is always recommended to take it off and run (or use) the concentrator for a while and run the battery down.

    • There are several factors that can go into Medicare coverage. You should ask your provider. We currently do not work with Medicare but a direct to consumer supplier.

  3. I’m so pissed off with this machine I’m ready to bash it into a million pieces. #1 if I don’t take a breath when It thinks I should it beeps, and it’s not just a little reminder it’s an obnoxious, so anybody within 200’ can hear it. I know when to take a breath and none of my other sources for oxygen beep at me, very maddening. #2 it doesn’t hold a charge for but a few hours, sitting idle over nite it’s totally discharged. #3 in order to get my 2 units of oxygen I have to run it on 3 thus taking more of the battery.

    • We are sorry to hear of your displeasure with the Caire Comfort. Please contact the provider that gave you the unit and see if you can trade. If you have further questions, please contact us at: 1-877-644-4581.
