  1. Inogen One: 4 years old. I have tipped over several times and when I turn it on it makes a racket so things have to be tightened up. Can you do this.

    • This is something that we can do as we are an authorized Inogen Repair Center. Please give our Customer Care team a call at 888-360-9628. We look forward to helping you.

      • I watched the video by Doug Leister on SimplyGo maintenance and am confused. In his video, he says to run the unit WITHOUT the battery for …But at the top of the manual on page 19, it says “Do not use this device without the battery installed and operating.” Which is it?

        • Thank you for the feedback. We’ll review the video. Please use the User’s Manual as your first reference point.

  2. My Inogen gets uncomfortably hot during a 2-hour use. Wherever it is lying, on my body, upper leg mostly, or hip area, gets hot as well. How would you propose it be worn/carried to keep my body shielded from that heat?
    Thank you!

    • Make sure that you are not blocking any vents that it has and that you are using the carrying bag. This should help better shield you from the heat. If you are still having issues contact the company you purchased the unit from and have them troubleshoot with you over the phone. You might have an issue with your machine.

  3. 1. After how many hours of use does a SimplyGo POC needs to have its filter(s) cleaned/changed?
    2. Can this be done by myself or does it need to go to a service station?
    Regards,
    Me

    • SimplyGo will alert you when it’s time to service. You’ll need to contact the customer service department to set up repairs as SimplyGo has no user-serviceable parts.

  4. My Simply Go has 4321 hours on it. I’ve been very happy with this unit. It has become noisier recently. I hear something like a whirring sound occasionally.
Can I get this unit serviced? I’d like to keep using it as it has helped me recover some of my mobility.

    • Yes, the unit can be serviced. Please contact your equipment provider (where you purchased the concentrator from) or the manufacturer to get your unit serviced.

  5. Good morning. l living in Brazil and adquired the respisronic simpleGo and he turn off in 2 min. in operation. Whats can it be this trouble? thank you !

    • Good morning! I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues with your Respironics SimplyGo. Try performing a hard reset by turning the device off, unplugging it from the power source, and removing the battery (if applicable). Wait for a few minutes, then reinsert the battery and power it back on.

  6. Good afternoon, I living in India and this machine is auto restarted.

  8. My client lives in a remote first nations community in Northwester BC. His relatively new (less than 3 yrs old) Simply Go does not . . it turns on, fan runs and such but no air comes out of outlet. Tubes are not kinked or blocked. Am suspecting filter issues or the sieve bed as this unit has been operated in a very dusty environment. Can you please let me know the closest service site and/or if any of the components can be replaced here in community. This gentleman is unable to leave his house without this unit and there are not roads into this location. It is accessible only by boat. Any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated.

    • I understand the critical situation your client is facing, and it’s essential to address this issue promptly to ensure he has access to the oxygen therapy he needs. Respironics SimplyGo comes with a 3-years manufacturer’s warranty, the unit might still be under warranty. Please contact the vendor or the manufacturer to get the unit serviced per their procedures.
Meanwhile perform a hard reset of the unit. By turning it off, removing the battery, and letting it sit for 10 minutes and then plug-in the power cord and turn on.
Also, ensure the the intake vents on the back of the unit are clean.
