The 525 model by DeVilbiss, one of the best brands in oxygen therapy, made another home oxygen concentrator that is both great on features and easy to work with. This is one of the newest models, but with the same parts and reliable functions as the previous home models, the 303 and 515A concentrators.

This model was made to be low maintenance, but still easy for anyone to clean or change the filter when it needs it. Its user friendly set-up and interface, as well as its small size and reliability make this home oxygen concentrator one of our main customer favorites. To help you make a decision, we’ve put together some customer reviews on the DeVilbiss 525. We asked them what they liked best about their concentrator, and what they thought could be better. These are from people who have been using this concentrator for 3 months or more.

“It’s nice to be able to check the filter to see if it needs cleaned, without even having to take off the filter door. It was very smart of DeVilbiss to give the filter intake an opening that was transparent. Any added convenience is worth it, if you ask me. I’m also glad that it doesn’t seem to use that much more electricity in my home. I use 2 LPM overnight, and it hardly makes any difference in how much energy I’ve used. It’s also not too loud, like this big, old model that I’ve had for years. I was glad to get rid of that noise thing that took up so much room in my bedroom. I’m very happy with this new concentrator.” – Jerry O.

“I love how new technology is making things so much smaller than they used to be. Not that long ago I could only find home oxygen concentrators for my 5 LPM that I need that were just so big and obtrusive. I had to move around some of the furniture in my home just so I could position it without having it sitting in the middle of the room. This home concentrator is nice and small, which is mainly why I got it! It’s also not hideous, and of course, gives me the oxygen flow that I need. I did some shopping around as well, and you seemed to have the best price. All in all, I’m glad for this oxygen concentrator and I can’t find anything to complain about!” – Marie B.

“My doctor recommended this concentrator to me a few months ago when I was diagnosed with emphysema. He said that I need 4 LPM for 6 hours a day, and I usually do it at night. This oxygen concentrator is working very well for me, and I feel much better now that my oxygen needs are met. Amazing what that can do! It’s also not a hassle for when I have to get up at night to go to the bathroom or go to the kitchen for a drink, because it’s able to use the 50-foot tube. This is a very nice concentrator.” – Bill W.
