There is plenty of excitement in Vegas, and attractions for the whole family to enjoy. If you, you and your significant other, or your family are planning a trip to the Entertainment Capital of the World, you should be able to do what everyone else will be doing, despite needing to use oxygen therapy. From gambling to taking in a live show, to eating at one of the unique restaurants in this town, we will make sure your portable oxygen concentrator rental will meet your oxygen needs the whole time.

Don’t forget that Las Vegas is located in a desert, so the temperatures can get pretty overwhelmingly hot during the summer time. Hot and dry in the extreme can be a big problem for people with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), so if hot and dry bothers you, you will want to visit during the early spring or mid to late fall to beat the heat. During the summer months, the average highs can easily go above 104 degrees, which is the maximum operational temperature for most of our portable oxygen concentrators. March and October to November have the best temperatures in this arid part of the country.

Take the whole family to see a magic show, one of the things Vegas is famous for, besides gambling and impromptu weddings done by Elvis impersonators. Don’t be fooled by Vegas being called “Sin City” – you can also have some good clean fun by taking the younger ones to the Atomic Testing Museum, for some science that even the non-scientist of the family will enjoy. Check out some Vegas history of old neon signs in the Neon Boneyard, or view the beautiful red rock formations at the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Take the hiking trails for some exercise, or admire the red rock formations on the 13-mile drive tour.

When you go on a long walk through the hiking trails, be sure to bring your spare battery or external battery belt, so you won’t need to worry about running out of battery power while you are away from civilization. All of our portable oxygen rentals come with a spare battery or battery belt, as well as a cord to charge your oxygen concentrator while relaxing in your hotel. You can also add more spare batteries to your rental order, with the help of one of our sales reps, if you want even more mobility and freedom.

Looking for somewhere great to eat at reasonable prices in Vegas? Roy’s is a popular restaurant, as well as The Cheesecake Factory, and Mandarin Bar for a good drink and good times with tourists and locals, alike. As you go from restaurant to casino, to your hotel and everywhere else, you won’t need to worry about your portable concentrator getting in the way. The carts for the oxygen concentrators that come with them are small, light and easy to maneuver through even the most crowded venues. You’ll have a great time in Las Vegas, and we’ll make sure your oxygen needs are taken care of.

  1. Hi I will be visiting your beautiful city May 30 to June 3 rd and require a oxygen concentrator for sleeping at night do you rent theses if so how much daily and will you deliver to the hotel we are staying at and how much notice do you need

    • We do rent and yes we can ship to the hotel. The pricing varies as to the concentrator and the accessories needed (cart, extra batteries, pack, etc). Give our rental team a call and they can help you out. Typically if you have all the needed information, we can ship same day and we normally do ground or 2 day. But call us to discuss. (888)572-5831.

  2. My husband has a portable oxygen machine but my question is, when we travel to New York for a week can we rent the oxygen bottles or machine for when we are in the air B and B because we were told the portables are not recommended for long term use

    • Portable oxygen concentrators are designed for long term usage. There are portable oxygen concentrators (POC) out there which can be used 24/7. You can also use your POC on the flight. We cannot advise whether the oxygen bottles will provide the same level of blood oxygen saturation. We can quickly answer all your questions over a phone call. Please reach us out at 888-387-5914. We are open seven days a week.

  3. I will be visiting Las Vegas Feb 1 to Feb 8. I am 72 years old and I am on oxygen 24/7.
