If you’re planning on a trip through Northern California, you will need to check out one of the most diverse, interesting and underrated cities – San Jose. Most people know of San Jose, only as the city that’s close to it’s more famous neighbor, San Francisco, but San Jose is a great place to visit all it’s own, with many things to love and remember. If you want to visit a place that is both fun and the kind of place you would want to raise a family, come check out San Jose. We can have one of our portable oxygen concentrator rentals ready for you, right in time for your trip.

Most likely, you might not have decided to come here unless you are driving in from San Francisco. If this isn’t the case and you are flying in from somewhere farther away, there are a few steps you will need to take before getting your portable oxygen concentrator rental. You will need to find out how many batteries you need. To find this out, call your airline no less than 2 weeks before your flight, to find out exactly how much more battery life you will need. Different airlines have different stipulations. After that, you can give us a call and we can tack on as many batteries to your rental package as you will need.

One of the best things about San Jose, is its mild weather all year long. For the most sun, with heat that isn’t too oppressive, come any time during the summer or fall. Summers don’t seem to get much hotter than 85 degrees, while winters are only usually a chilly 45 degrees with some moderate to light rain. Because it is inland, San Jose doesn’t see the dense fog nearly as much as San Francisco does.

One very odd and unique place you might want to visit while in San Jose, is the world famous Winchester House. This historic mansion is open to the public for tours and is allegedly haunted. If you’re more of a techie and less of a supernatural fan, check out the Tech Museum of Innovation, which has exhibits and hands on experiences for the kids in your group. Happy Hollow Park and Zoo would be a great day trip for the whole family, where you can see some exotic animals, or have some fun in the California sun.

Be sure to charge up your extra batteries and bring them with you, since San Jose is pretty big, and you’ll want to see as much as you can before you leave. The best thing to do is get ready for a night out by going back to where you are staying, and charging up all your batteries before setting out on the town. If you want some stylish surroundings and French cuisine, Le Papillon is one of the best restaurants in town. For a more laid back atmosphere and good barbecue, head over to Famous Dave’s.
