I am a 72 year old white male who has been diagnosed with COPD. To say I am afraid of catching the Corona Virus is an understatement. With the lack of Ventilators available and the infection numbers rising quickly, there maybe no help for many. And to see the prices of Oxygen rentals at $420.00 per week, is a death sentence to most seniors. I expected better!

We understand that these sophisticated machines might be costly. We have some gently used machines in our inventory and we do offer some great financing plans. Please give us a call at 877-644-4581 to figure out if one fits your needs.

I have chronic copd. My lungs are real bad. I'm n the hospital every two month. I almost died 3 times. They called all my family in and the Chaplin. But they told my kids that if I didn't hear from them I made it thru the night. My son was beside me saying mom u are my life. My daughter was n shock. My little sister and she help my kids make the decision . They wanted no tubes down my throat or put me n coma for 10 days hoping I would wake up. And they finally decide to put stent n groan cause I was full of infection. That dr. Saved my life. ThankGod. I am alive today because of him and God. My kids would love for me to have one of these. So please if u could get me one of these they would love me to Rae walks with them. GOD BLESS YOU!

Just wondering if in this pandemic there is an oxygen machine one could buy to have on hand in case they get sick? Is this practical? Just wondering. Would be willing to purchase if a machine were available to the public?

We understand your concern regarding COVID-19. Oxygen is a prescribed drug per FDA rules and regulations. An oxygen concentrator cannot be purchased over-the-counter; a prescription is a must. After a medical examination, the doctor prescribes the oxygen flow rate and flow type to bring the patient's blood oxygen saturation at the normal level. Please take care and let us know if you have any further questions.

I have an oxygen concentrator but was told it will not help with coronavirus because the ventilator does a different thing. Please help

Good question! Oxygen concentrators and ventilators are different. Think of an oxygen concentrator as a subset of a ventilator. An oxygen concentrator can perform some of the many functions that a ventilator can perform - oxygen concentrator can supply oxygen and the oxygen flow rate can be adjust as per the machine's capacity. Ventilators are more sophisticated and depending on the model one can adjust the air pressure, oxygen flow rate, airflow type, oxygen purity level, etc. Many hospitals and clinics are using oxygen concentrators to administer oxygen to patients in this time of the Coronavirus crisis.

I have passed along your information to an Oxygen Specialist who will reach out regarding your request. Also, we can quickly answer your questions over a phone call. Please reach us out at 888-387-5914.
