A Portable Oxygen Concentrator Rental is very useful when you plan on taking a vacation away from home, away from your stationary oxygen concentrator, or if you use oxygen tanks, but you’d like to travel by air. Oxygen tanks aren’t allowed on commercial flights because they can become dangerous in the cabin of an airplane. Our rental portable oxygen concentrators are all approved by the Federal Aviation Administration for use on board a commercial flight.

Rental packages are also great to let you know whether or not you’d like to commit to buying a certain oxygen concentrator model. You’ll learn first hand over the course of a week, or however long you’d like to rent it, how it works and get to know all its features. Sometimes you can’t really know if you’ll want a certain concentrator until you’ve actually used it for a while. You can decide to rent the portable oxygen concentrator for as long as you want, to get a good feel of it.

You can add up to four batteries to your rental package for an additional rental fee for the package. This will end up saving you a lot of money, than if you would have bought the portable oxygen concentrator and bought additional batteries. Packages with additional batteries already added on will always be less expensive than adding them later. You’ll know how many batteries to get with your package by the length of the flight you plan on taking, as well as how long you’ll be using your portable oxygen concentrator at a time.

You might realize that you’ll need to rent a portable oxygen concentrator for an extended period of time. Maybe you won’t know this until a week into your vacation, that you’ll be extending your vacation. You might decide to use your rental for a while longer to decide whether or not you’d like to purchase the same model from our new oxygen concentrators.

You can always contact us at American Medical, whenever you decide that you want to keep your rental oxygen concentrator a little longer than anticipated. You can let us know how much longer you would like to keep the concentrator, and you can pay us the additional rental fee over the phone with your credit or debit card, or mail us a check.

Our handy rental matching quiz can help you decide which rental package is right for you. Just answer a few simple questions, and it will give you the models that match up with your criteria. You can then look below to view them, and choose the one with the number of batteries that you will need. Contact us with your order and payment, as well as your doctor’s prescription, and we will UPS your rental to you, so it will get to you with time to spare. When you’re ready to send back your rental package and all its accessories and batteries, you can pack them up in the handy return box that was sent with your rental.

  1. hello I aquestion about Simply on the go unit. I´m at 12.500 feet and i was wondering if I would have problems using this unit.

    • The SimpyGo will function fine at that elevation point. We tested this equipment in Vail, Avon, and most of the mountain slopes. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

  2. I have lung cancer and low oxygen concentrations. I cannot tolerate lack of oxygen for but such a few minutes. Visits by auto or planes to hospitals or clinics require almost constant use of oxygen and must likely long term carry.
I need to get a large oxygen tank if possible Sunday December 17 or very early Monday December 18
and I am willing to expediate the cost for this early cost. Also we need the nasal connection and tubing

    • Thank you for your comment, Burton. Here at the Oxygen Concentrator Store we do not sell or rent oxygen tanks as we are an out of pocket oxygen concentrator supplier. Additionally, please note that our rental department is not meant for long-term rentals and instead is based around a weekly rental rate. If you have any further question regarding renting a portable or stationary oxygen concentrator you can reach out to our Rental Department directly at: 888-360-4493.

    • I have passed along your information to one of our Oxygen Specialist who will be reaching out to you shortly. in the meantime feel free to give us a call at 888-360-9628 or if you prefer email sales@amsrco.com. We look forward to assisting you with your oxygen needs.
