Florida is a popular vacation destination for a reason. With its warm, tropical climate and plethora of breathtaking beaches, many flock to the Sunshine State year round to enjoy relaxing getaways in the Florida rays. Don’t let your oxygen needs dictate the way you spend your vacation time—take control of them with a portable oxygen concentrator!

Whether your destination is South Beach in Miami, Delray north of Boca Raton or one of Florida’s keys, you probably have sun, surf and sand on your mind. And, with the right portable concentrator at your side, you’ll be able to stroll the boardwalk in style and comfort while meeting your oxygen needs.

If you want something low profile, you might want to investigate the Airsep Freestyle. It weighs just 5 pounds, making it the lightest portable oxygen concentrator on the market. It is also the quietest, so you don’t have to worry about drawing attention to your concentrator—just set it, forget it and enjoy the freedom that only oxygen mobility can provide.

If you’d like something a little more powerful, you might consider going with the Respironics SimplyGo. Though it is twice as heavy as the Airsep Freestyle, it functions in both pulse dose and continuous flow modes, providing you with the versatility you need to comprehensively meet your treatment needs.

Of course, the beach isn’t the only place you can enjoy your new oxygen freedom. With world-renowned theme parks like Disney World, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, Universal Studios and countless other destinations, your entertainment options are as endless as your oxygen supply!

Before jumping on an airplane to Florida, make sure your oxygen needs are met first. Call us today for any questions you may have about buying or renting a unit. You can even start using your concentrator on the flight, as all of the models we sell are FAA approved!

What are you waiting for? Florida awaits!

  1. I believe we corresponded early last year about an oxygen concentrator for my wife. She was approved for oxygen prior to her heart surgery, began using a home concentrator via insurance from Lincare. After surgery, she no longer used oxygen, so the unit was returned to Lincare. my question is that if I wanted to purchase a portable unit (I am paranoid) what is required to acquire a unit?

    • A prescription or doctor’s note is needed to purchase an oxygen concentrator since Oxygen is a medical drug. Our Oxygen Specialist would be happy to help you out with your requirements. Please give us a call at 877-644-4581.
