If you have high supplemental oxygen requirements, you may think a portable oxygen concentrator can’t meet your needs. That simply isn’t true. The SeQual eQuinox rental concentrator is the perfect option for anyone who wants true portability but needs greater amounts of oxygen than traditional portable oxygen concentrator units can provide.

Weighing less than 13 pounds, the eQuinox also includes a telescoping wheeled cart for exceptionally easy movement. But don’t let its small size fool you. The eQuinox can deliver more oxygen than any other portable concentrator in its weight class. In fact, it provides up to 3 liters per minute continuous flow or up to 192 mL in pulse doses with 3 settings you can choose from.

Furthermore, the SeQual eQuinox uses the AutoSAT system. This technology allows the machine to automatically adjust to meet your oxygen requirements, regardless of your current activity level. It will deliver more frequent, smaller bursts when you’re active, and slower, larger amounts of oxygen when you’re at rest or sleeping. This smart system does it all for you so that you don’t have to constantly alter your oxygen levels manually.

Perhaps one of the most surprising features of the eQuinox is its incredibly low noise level. At just 36 decibels, it’s quieter than a low conversation and is unobtrusive in any environment. In fact, it makes less noise than many other smaller, less powerful oxygen concentrators. You can even use it while sleeping with no problem.

This oxygen concentrator is also designed for travel. It’s fully FAA approved for commercial flights and its low volume ensures it won’t disturb other passengers. Plus, it’s the perfect size to slide under your seat. DC and AC adapters are including, allowing you to recharge on the go. Renting this unit for a trip is a great idea!

For such a powerful unit, the eQuinox also provides generous battery life. A fully charged battery can last up to 5 and a half hours on pulse mode and up to 4 and a half hours when set to continuous flow. Both a 12 and 24 cell battery are included with your rental. Best of all, the battery is external, conveniently located on the front of the machine. This means that removing and replacing it is a breeze!

This unit is really user-friendly as well. You have multiple language options and an audible voice alert system. This system spares you from having to visually check the menu, an especially useful feature when traveling. It will let you know the oxygen flow rate and battery life remaining. There are also alerts for malfunctions and low battery.

  • Perfect for travel – small, lightweight, FAA approved
  • Includes telescoping wheeled cart, batteries, and cannula
  • Great for high oxygen needs – up to 3 L/min O2 continuous flow
  • Audible alerts for better ease of use
  • Up to 5-1/2 hours of battery life
  • Quiet! Lower volume than other portable concentrators with half its power
  • An ideal rental for a trip of a week or more

  1. I use 6 Liters/Minute on the stationary concentrator at home and may need more, sometime in the future. I must therefore upgrade from my trusty mobile inogen G3, it can’t supply enough O2. What’s the best option? Anything small enough to fit onto a walker?

    • Great question, Danielle. I have passed along your information to our Oxygen Specialists and a representative will reach out shortly. Depending on the year and condition of your Inogen G3, you could trade in that unit and use that money toward a machine that will work with your oxygen needs. If you’d like more immediate assistance you can reach out to our team at 877-774-9271.
