Automatic CPAP and BiPAP machines give you a varied or set flow of air throughout the night, instead of a constant pressure, which is what standard or “fixed” CPAP and BiPAP machines do. People with obstructive sleep apnea are benefited by the Automatic CPAP machine, and those with central sleep apnea need to use a BiPAP machine. A CPAP machine puts out one constant pressure at all times to keep your throat from becoming obstructed, while a BiPAP machine puts out two different pressures, one from inhaling and one for exhaling.

Our automatic machines can be adjusted to provide oxygen between a certain range. As your breathing fluctuates throughout the night, so does the machine to provide you with both comfort and exact amount of airflow that you need to continue breathing properly.

If you are wondering what to purchase in the way of an auto CPAP or BiPAP machine, you can check out what some of our past customers have said about each one. From there, and with the help of our team of customer representatives, you and your doctor can decide which is right for you.

Respironics REMstar CPAP Pro Auto IQ with Humidification

“I like this one a lot and it’s a great value for the price. I started out with just the CPAP without the heated humidifier, but winter came along and I found myself waking up in the morning with an extremely dry and sore throat. Getting the humidifier with it in the first place would have been better, but now I don’t have to deal with the dryness during the cold, dry months.” – Tonya W.

“This machine is smart. I recommend this not only because of the price but, but because it was able to look at my breathing patterns for 30 days and automatically adjust to my needs. The SD card makes things really convenient for me and my doctor to keep an eye on me, as well. This is a great little machine!” – Luke T.

DeVilbiss IntelliPAP AutoAdjustCPAP with Heated Humidifier and SmartLink

“I would wake up a lot during the night with my old CPAP machine because the pressure would change too harshly and quickly. The feature on this machine makes it a lot more gentle and adjusts perfectly to my breathing patterns without overcompensating. The software is really easy to to use and the whole set up is just really user friendly.” – Sam P.

DeVilbiss IntelliPAP AUTO BILEVEL with Heated Humidifier and SmartLink

“This machine is so easy to use and so quiet. The night after I used it the first time, it gave my doctor a reading on my breathing, and we were able to adjust accordingly. Now I feel so much better during the day. My central sleep apnea doesn’t have any effect on my mood during the day anymore!” – Ray S.

ResMed S9 VPAP™ Auto with H5i™ and ClimateLine™ Tubing

“This machine and parts for it together are very much worth the cost! I’ve never been so comfortable sleeping at night. The ClimateLine tubing makes me feel like I’m not having air pushed into my mouth – I feel like I’m breathing on my own. Anything you get for comfort is worth the cost.” – Melanie D.
