Home oxygen concentrators are continuously improving and new ones are frequently released, and the AirSep VisionAire is one of the best ones we’ve seen yet. If you’re tired of your older, louder, bulkier model, you should seriously consider purchasing the VisionAire, which is being praised for its quiet and soft hum and its small, compact and sleek design. It’s also very energy efficient, which is becoming more and more important these days as energy prices continue to climb.

Weight, Dimensions, Energy Usage, Liters Per Minute and Oxygen Purity:

This home oxygen concentrator is capable of putting out between 1 and 5 liters per minute (LPMs), and only uses around 290 watts at the maximum, making it one of the best and most efficient for the price. In addition to having the capacity to put out up to 5 LPMs of continuous oxygen flow, the purity of the oxygen can range between 87% and 95%. It only weighs 30 pounds, which is much less compared to many older models that can deliver up to 5 LPMs of continuous oxygen. The dimensions of this machine are 14 inches wide, by 20 inches high, by 11.5 inches deep.

Exterior Specifications:

The incredibly sturdy and tough cabinet, or outer casing of the oxygen concentrator, features one handle at the top center of the machine, and one handle on either side, near the top. This will make it even easier to move it around from room to room in your home, if you’d like to watch television in the living room, and then move to the bedroom without any hassle.

The control panel of this home concentrate is also extremely easy to read and operate, since there are instructions printed on the control panel itself. The buttons are nice and big, and everything you would need to use is right there, in the top front center of the machine.

The humidifier reservoir is located in the top, back of the machine, making it easy to access as well. The rubber tubing all comes from the same spot on the machine – from the top of the humidifier bottle. The tubes all coming from the same spot on the machine helps to simplify things and helps you to avoid tubing snags and pinches. To take care of your humidifier bottle, you will need to clean it and refill it every day to keep the water fresh and the bottle from becoming clogged.

Warranty and Maintenance:

You’ll feel taken care of because of the high quality of your new VisionAire, with the addition of the 3 year manufacturers warranty that comes with your purchase. This machine will also last a very long time before you would need to do any sort of user maintenance to it. It features absolutely no filters to clean or replace, which makes the VisionAire unique among our other home oxygen concentrators. All of these things make the VisionAire one of the best home oxygen concentrators for someone who requires no more than 5 LPM of continuous oxygen flow.

  1. Hey there… I have purchased one of these from a friend and was wondering how to open the box and clean the filter, or whatever is in there that filters the air… If there’s anything you can tell me great thank you, I really appreciate your time!

    • Thank you for your inquiry, Jeff. Unfortunately, opening up the machine will void the warranty on your machine. Feel free to give our Service Department a call at 877-303-9289 if you have further questions.

  2. We have an AirSep Visionaire 5 that we use at an elevation of 10,600 ft with a universal water bottle. The adapter hose from the O2 output to the water bottle is so short that when connected the hose kinks. Nevertheless. when On the water does bubble and we get output when set at 2 lpm. Do we have a problem? OR do I need to extend the adapter hose–if so, how?

    • Since the water does bubble and you are getting an output you would be fine. You should, however, keep an eye on it to make sure that it doesn’t kink to the point that it cuts off the air. You may want to carry a backup hose just in case this does kink.

  3. Can u please tell me the best way to though clean my machine it has been in storage for about 2years and has got mouse poop on it and also where can I purchase a new water bottle for it?

    • After 2 years of no use it is highly likely the machine will not work correctly. Because the filters that extract the oxygen have not been used for this long, the machine will not operate. Best thing is to call us and discuss options for either service or researching options for a replacement. Call us at 888-360-9628

  4. Hi! I also use the concentrator at 10,000 ft with the water bottle. I’m getting some significant water into the air tubes even with the bottle filled below the MAX line. airflow is set to “4”. so much water is entering the system that it cannot be effectively used while sleeping without waking us up. What might i be doing wrong?

    • it sounds like you need a water trap. We do sell these and you can get one from us. Give our sales team a call and they can help you get the right one for you. Call our team at 888-743-0156
