CPAP Filters

Filters are an extremely important part of your therapy. They protect your lungs and airways through air filtration and trapping large particles that inhabit our air, including fibers, cat and dog hair and dander. With your purchase you will receive a filter. If your CPAP unit comes with a reusable filter, it is recommended that you hand wash and air dry your filter frequently, especially if you smoke or have pets. Replace your reusable and disposable filters every three months to maintain your machine and successful sleep therapy.

Disposable Fine Filters are capable of collecting and trapping very small particles that may inhabit our air such as smoke, dust, and dirt. Fine filters help to prevent irritation that may affect your lungs and small airways, making your sleep therapy more productive. Disposable filters cannot be washed and should be replaced once dirt is noticed—once a month, or whichever occurs first.

Bacteria filters are capable of collecting and trapping Ultra-Fine particles that may inhabit our air. If you suffer from allergies and (or) have sensitive airways and want the highest level of filtration, bacteria filters are recommended as an added layer of comfort and protection during your sleep therapy. Bacteria filters cannot be washed and should be replaced once dirt is noticed—once a month, or whichever occurs first. We understand that with so many options you may be overwhelmed. Our CPAP Representatives are available to assist you in your Filter needs.
