Sleep Therapy is oftentimes prescribed by a physician for the treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). The most common form of therapy is the use of a CPAP machine, or sometimes BiPAP, in order to assist during sleep. Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) increases pressure in the airway and helps to keep the airway open while the patient slumbers.

There is a wide variety of CPAP and BiPAP products available to those who require Sleep Therapy. Some devices will have a set, or fixed pressure which must be prescribed by the physician. Other units will automatically adjust according to the patient’s needs as they sleep; while the doctor provides a high and low “pressure range” for patient comfort.
