Thank you for your recent gift of medical equipment rental. Your support is greatly appreciated and clearly reflects your commitment to our mission of granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. Zoie always imagined going on a beach vacation to see the ocean. Her one true wish was a trip to Newport Beach, California, and Make-A-Wish was about to make it come true. Zoie was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis when she was six weeks old. Zoie, four-years-old, must adhere to a strict regimen of treatments and hospital visits. A beach vacation was the perfect distraction for her and her family.
Finally, arriving in Newport Beach, Zoie’s dream of seeing the ocean came true. The family had a beach house right on the boardwalk allowing her to wake up seeing the glistening water each morning. Her first day at the beach, Zoie felt the sand between her toes and diped her feet into the chilly ocean; she loved being outside and soaking up the sun.
Zoie’s mom and dad had always hoped to travel with her, but due to her medical condition, they were fearful of the process. “If this is the only vacation we can ever take with her, it was a perfect one.” Zoie’s dad, Derik, shared.

Scott joined American Medical Sales and Rentals in 2008 as a Web Manager and Content Writer. He is a writer and designer. He is extensively trained on oxygen therapy products from leading manufacturers such as Inogen, Respironics, Chart, Invacare, ResMed and more.
Scott works closely with respiratory therapists and oxygen specialists to educate the community about oxygen therapy products, COPD, asthma and lung diseases. He writes weekly columns and is passionate about educating the community on oxygen therapy and respiratory issues.
