These are numerous respiratory and COPD conferences that will be taking place in 2016. If you have a respiratory disease, attending one of these conferences can be a very educational and helpful experience. You can ask keynote speakers pressing questions about conditions and new medical sciences, as well as talk to others who have asthma, COPD and other chronic respiratory diseases.

Staying educated about your condition is important because you’re always the first one to know about your own symptoms. It’s also important to talk to others who have your condition because it can make you feel less alone. Going to a conference can be an excellent experience, and you can make some contacts and new friends.

Second Annual Lung Cancer Update: Advances in Screening, Diagnostics and Therapeutics

This is taking place on January 15th in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The venue is The William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education, at the University of North Carolina. The Johns Hopkins University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Divisions of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, as well as the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, are presenting the second annual update in lung cancer screening, diagnostics, and therapeutics. Through this accredited CME activity, the organizers will cover new recommendations and cutting edge research in the area of lung cancer.

3rd Allergy, Asthma, & COPD Conference

GTCbio is delighted to present the 3rd Allergy, Asthma, & COPD Conference, to be held on January 25-26, 2016 in San Diego, CA. The conference will bring together industry, academia and government experts in the field of allergy, asthma and COPD.

Experts will facilitate discourse on the challenges and opportunities for therapeutic and drug development for allergic diseases for the current and future generations. Topics will range from basic scientific research to biomarkers and clinical development.

Better Breathing Conference

Held at the Toronto Marriott Downtown Eaton Centre Hotel on January 29 and 30 2016 An annual conference for respiratory health professionals with plenary speeches, presentations, workshops and debates on respiratory health issues.
Sessions feature the latest research and therapies in the prevention, detection and treatment of lung disease with particular emphasis on asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and lung cancer. Presented by the Ontario Lung Association and its professional societies — the Ontario Thoracic Society and the Ontario Respiratory Care Society.
