You won’t have any trouble getting around in this town, because of how well it was planned out in the way of land use and public transportation, and that’s why it’s one of the most environmentally friendly cities in the continental US. Hop a ride on a convenient TriMet bus, rent a car to explore the town, or take your time and walk or bike to many of the great destinations around the city. Either way you choose to get around while you’re there, you oxygen concentrator will be up and out of your way. Visit Portland during July if you’re not a big fan of cloud cover and rain, which Portland sees a lot of for most of the year. However, the rain makes the area surrounding Portland lush and beautiful. For you nature lovers, you’ll need to experience the outdoors in the best ways possible in Portland by visiting Forest Park, or Hoyt Arboretum. Get your fill of fresh air and exercise by doing some hiking or biking around these areas. Whether you are traveling with family, you and a loved one, or by yourself, there are a few places in Portland that you won’t want to miss. The 64-acre Oregon Zoo is located here, and it’s one of the best zoos around. Portland Japanese Garden is a beautiful and traditonal Japanese garden, and it can be found in Washington Park in the west hills. This is a great city for the arts, so be sure to check out the Portland Art Museum, which is the oldest art museum on the West Coast.

Your nights in Portland won’t be complete without a visit to one of the many microbreweries and pubs, such as the renowned Bridgeport Brewery and Brewpub, or Tugboat Brewing Company. If wine is more your style, head over to Thirst Wine Bar and Shop. A few of the best restaurants in this town are Le Pigeon, which is located where all the best action is, or Toro Bravo, where you might be waiting for an hour or two, but it’s always completely worth the wait. Note that you will need plenty of extra batteries for your concentrator, to keep powered up and ready to go while you’re out having fun.
