What is the maximum setting of pulse on the Inogen One G2?
The Inogen One G2 has a maximum setting of 5 PULSE ONLY. This machine does not offer continuous flow so use for this machine at night is not recommended, unless a doctor gives permission. Although, the Inogen One G2 does have recent studies and documented records that this machine can potentially be used at night.
Will the Inogen One G2 fit under a seat in an airplane?
The Inogen One G2’s dimensions are: 10.7 in X 3.9 in X 9.5 in. This is one of the smallest sized portables on the market and this machine is so small and will fit under any seat in any aircraft.

The Inogen One G2 is one of the quietest portable concentrators at a rated decibel level DBA LESS THAN 38 on the setting of 2 pulse. If you increase the setting above 2, the DBA level will increase.
What is the weight of the Inogen One G2 with the supplemental battery and without?
The Inogen One G2 with the 12 cell battery connected to the machine weighs 7.25 pounds. The Inogen One G2 with the 24 cell battery connected to the machine weighs 8.5 pounds. If you remove the 12 or 24 cell battery from the machine, the unit weighs 6.0 pounds. The 12 cell battery weighs 1.5 pounds and the 24 cell battery weighs 2.5 pounds.
Will the Inogen One G2 operate and charge the battery off the DC power in the vehicle?
The Inogen One G2 will operate/run the machine and recharge the battery at the same time off DC power (Plug into your cigarette lighter). Always plug the DC adapter from the Inogen One G2 to the cigarette lighter up front in the vehicle, not the power supply in the back seat. The reason behind this is the other cigarette lighter plugs are weaker than the front plug. The other cigarette lighter ports in the vehicle may not be strong enough to operate/run and charge the battery on the Inogen One G2.
Can you use a humidifier bottle with the Inogen One G2?
No. Since the machine is a pulse only system a humidifier bottle can’t be used with this machine. In order to use a humidifier bottle, you need continuous flow and the life choice is a pulse only machine.

I have an Inogen One G2 and recently the pulse delivery has become a little erratic. I received a Pulse supply when breathing out. For my own convenience, I use the trolly and the shoulder strap without the Trolley. Other than this erratic supply the noise level seems to have increased with a small vibration. I will be sending it for maintenance and will report back once this is done
Should I feel the oxygen when I inhale?
It’s very difficult to feel the oxygen on inhalation. The unit will alert you if it is not delivering oxygen when it is supposed to.
