Welcome to the 2013 AMSR Respiratory Care Students Scholarship Contest
American Medical would like to take this opportunity to announce our first Scholarship Essay Contest. The scholarship is $500 and will be awarded to a student working towards a degree as a Respiratory Therapist. We work daily with Respiratory experts and value their knowledge and experience. We created this scholarship to help develop students that are working to become a RT. American Medical is excited to launch this scholarship program to encourage students for years to come.
Please write an essay about why you decided to study Respiratory Therapy and the steps you took to make this decision.
Please include any personal experience and how you see your future in the respiratory field. The essay should be around 300 words, feel free to write more or less but limit the essay to 1000 words in total.
To enter the scholarship students must follow these guidelines:
- Be enrolled at an accredited CoARC College or University in the U.S. (in good standing)
- Be enrolled at the undergraduate level
- Age sixteen (16) years or older
- Minimum GPA: 3.0
- Post marked by April 1st, 2018
- Your application should include:
- Typed copy of your submission (make sure to save a digital copy, so we can publish it)
- First & last name, email address & phone number printed at the top of the first page
- Transcript (unofficial transcripts accepted)
